Ashton Wright - Manager & Trainer

Certifications: ISSA Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Nutrition Specialist, CPR/AED/First Aid Certified

Ashton has over five years of experience working with a diverse range of clients through both one-on-one sessions and group training. She specializes in strength training, functional fitness, and corrective movement. Ashton has worked with youth athletes, adults of all levels, and clients ranging in age from 7 to 75.

She has a particular passion for helping kids get acclimated to the gym environment, teaching them proper movement mechanics early on. Ashton also has experience working with peri- and post-menopausal women to help them navigate training with confidence. Her athletic background includes powerlifting, Olympic lifting, and endurance events—having completed two half marathons.

Jose Ballivian - Manager & Trainer

Certifications: USAWLevel 1, CPR/AED/First Aid Certified

With over a decade of experience as a high-level athlete and years of hands-on coaching, Jose brings a powerful combination of athletic achievement and professional expertise to the world of performance training. A former member of the Chilean Olympic Team and South American Champion in both discus and shot put, he was ranked 13th in the world in discus in 2016 and competed as a four-year NCAA Division I track and field athlete. Most recently, he transitioned into powerlifting, earning the title of Pennsylvania State Champion.

Jose holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in International Business. His coaching background spans NCAA Division I football, track and field, and cross-country, as well as middle school and high school athletes, elderly individuals, and people of all fitness levels—including those with cognitive and developmental disabilities. He has held coaching roles at Liberty University and the University of Lynchburg, and now brings his deep knowledge, passion, and personal athletic experience to GPG, where he helps members become stronger, more confident, and more resilient.

Phil Letendre - Owner & Trainer

Certifications: NASM-CPT, USAW

Phil brings over a decade of industry experience and has led more than 10,000 one-on-one and group training sessions. His specialties include sports performance, functional strength, corrective exercise, geriatric strength and mobility, post-rehabilitation training, prehabilitation, and youth athletic development.

Phil has worked with clients ranging from 9 to 90+ years old, including competitive high school athletes, NCAA Division I athletes, and professionals across various sports. His coaching background includes youth baseball, basketball, and soccer, as well as strength and mobility training for high school volleyball and collegiate strength coaching for Division III swimming. He is also experienced in working with clients managing degenerative conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease and Multiple Sclerosis.

Nicole Letendre - Co-Owner & Trainer

Specialties: General Fitness, Women’s Health & Training

Nicole has years of experience in group fitness and personal training, including leading bootcamp and small-group classes. As a dedicated runner and coach, she focuses on empowering women to become healthier, stronger, and more confident—especially those who are new to fitness.

She excels at helping new members adjust to the gym environment and develop consistent, sustainable routines. Nicole is passionate about creating a welcoming space where clients feel encouraged and supported at every step of their journey.

Kirsten Strauss – Trainer

Certifications: NASM Certified Personal Trainer

Kirsten Strauss is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer whose own transformation fuels her passion for helping others. She began her fitness journey at the age of 35, determined to change her lifestyle and reclaim her health. Through hard work, consistency, and a newfound love for fitness, she went from 220 pounds to 130 pounds, proving to herself—and now to her clients—that real change is always possible with the right mindset and support.

Along the way, Kirsten discovered a deep passion for strength training and lifting, which led her into the world of bodybuilding in 2023. This experience not only shaped her physically but also gave her the confidence, discipline, and knowledge she now shares with others. Her philosophy is rooted in the belief that it’s never too late to start, and that fitness can be a powerful tool for building both physical strength and self-confidence.

Today, Kirsten specializes in weight loss, strength development, and helping individuals create sustainable, enjoyable fitness routines. Her goal is to guide clients in falling in love with working out, learning to trust their bodies, and achieving results that last—physically, mentally, and emotional.

Kevin Riffle – Trainer

Certifications: ISSA-certified Personal Trainer & ISSA Tactical Conditioning Specialist

Kevin brings an extensive background in law enforcement, tactical operations, and athletic development to his coaching. A retired law enforcement officer, former SWAT team member, and police instructor, he applies real-world experience and a performance-driven approach to every training program.


With nearly a decade of youth baseball coaching and a competitive background in baseball and functional fitness, Kevin specializes in building strength, resilience, and long-term athletic development.

In addition to training general fitness clients, Kevin works closely with youth athletes, emphasizing sport-specific strength, power development, and injury prevention. He also trains first responders and healthcare professionals, designing programs that prioritize durability, conditioning, and career longevity. His areas of focus include police and fire academy preparation, as well as tactical performance training for individuals preparing for special operations, SWAT, and sniper schools.
